Wagner Equipment Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Colorado, New Mexico and far west Texas, is seeking applications for a Recruiter in Albuquerque, NM.

This position is responsible for effectively developing a qualified-candidate pool in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas to meet the company's staffing needs, with an emphasis on positions requiring technical skills in product support. The position is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Depending on location, may perform some or all of the duties described below.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Administrative:
Identifies appropriate recruiting sources, such as vocational schools, job fairs, etc.; and maintains effective working relationships with those organizations
Writes employment advertisements, determines most effective media to utilize, and assures timely placement of ads
Maintains data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting techniques and resources
Assists with the collection and evaluation of employment data as part of the Human Resources team in areas such as turnover, wages, benefits, and other employment practices
Helps manage the internal employee transfer process

Organizational:
Provides input to hiring managers with regard to relevant information from interviews and applications
Plans and executes events at company facilities
Coordinates efforts and works in conjunction with WTI Staff in the on-going recruitment of the Wagner
Apprenticeship Program and other related employee development programs
Assists Human Resources staff with other administrative requirements

Interpersonal:
Conducts employment interviews to begin the process of matching an applicant's qualifications and interests with appropriate positions
Communicates important information about the company's career opportunities, training programs, employee benefit plans, and other relevant policies
Represents the company at career fairs and informational sessions

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS


Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Human Resources Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum Experience Required:

Administrative / Clerical Experience - Intermediate level
Customer Service Experience - Intermediate level
Sales Experience - basic level

Recruiting/interviewing responsibilities in an industrial organization - Basic Level
