Wagner Equipment Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Colorado, New Mexico and far west Texas, is seeking applications for a Branch Manager in El Paso, TX. The Branch Manager is responsible for the efficient operation and management of all branch sales, rentals, and product support activities of the company's branch operation in El Paso, TX. Manages the strategic and day to day operations in a manner to achieve branch objectives.
Direct Reports: Parts and Service Manager, Rental Coordinator II, Rental Sales Rep, Driver-Heavy

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Administrative:
Creates a strategy to develop and manage an effective product support, rental and walk-in sales organization
Develops and manages all budget responsibilities to ensure financial results of the business
Develops operational procedures congruent with established Wagner objectives by working with Wagner Equipment Co. and Wagner Rents management teams
Manages Daniel Customer Loyalty survey results and creates a customer service culture that results in the highest customer satisfaction results
Plans short and long-term requirements on equipment and facilities

Organizational:
Seeks input from, and reaches across product and service lines to support the needs of customers

Interpersonal:
Develops and maintains working relationships with customers, corporate managers and employees

Sales:
Develops product support, sales and rental strategies for all markets for Caterpillar earthmoving equipment, engines and allied lines
Establishes sales and profit objectives and ensures objectives are met or exceeded


Technical:
Maintains knowledge and understanding of products

Supervisory:
Hires, trains, and directs a working staff sufficient to efficiently perform the functions of the branch operations
Provides on-going performance feedback, and conducts timely special and annual performance reviews, making recommendations for status or salary adjustments
Develops human resource procedures to comply with local legal requirements while developing a knowledgeable, productive staff

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree in a business-related major or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum Experience Required: 5 or more years' experience in a heavy equipment/agriculture equipment dealership at a level of responsibility which includes management of sales, rental, and product support operations
